Mt. Rushmore- a classic road trip stop. The drive to it was filled with anticipation and a little fear that the faces would pop out of no where and take us by surprise. We turned a corner and there it was- so strange yet crazy seeing something in person that you have seen countless pictures of. Always felt like it was a cartoon but to actually see it carved into the side of a mountain in person was spectacular. We walked around, took pictures, and saw mountain goats that were questionably polar bears. We'll miss these guys!
