Boulder, CO

From Montana State we had our 15 hour drive to Colorado to visit my sister at University of Colorado, Boulder. Driving through Idaho and Wyoming was hours of absolutely nothing. Then randomly out of no where we drove through a Mountain pass, which we now call, Winter Wonderland, that looked EXACTLY like we were driving through cartoon pop up book! We then meet up with Ari, my sister, for the weekend. We did a lot of eating college food, which neither of us complained.

Unfortunately, Brooke got the flu, the days Ari's friend, Tucker, was taking us out climbing. Luckily she had a bed to sleep all day to help fight it. On Saturday, Tucker took me to a climbing spot right near Lily Lake, a couple hours from Boulder. We didn't end up climbing, but instead photographing and watching some of Tucker's friends highlining. It was my first time watching highlining in person, and getting to photograph when they were rigging it and walking. The wind would get up to 60mpr, yet they were still able to stand up. It was incredible. On Sunday we went to another spot in Golden, Colorado. The climb was pretty difficult just to get to the spot we were rigging the line. This one I got to try and I really just wanted to get the feel for it, so I sat on it. All I can say.. is that its indescribable and I just want to try it again. Then the rain and snow kicked us off the mountain.

It was so great to be in Colorado, hopefully we will get to visit again on our way back to California!
